I would like to tell you about a great friend of mine. Cynthia a.k.a. Eclecta. She and I work together in downtown Toronto. She is a regular contributor to the blogshpere and is self described as - ‘Canadian, a farm kid, an office rat, a city girl.’

I have changed the backend software, we are now running Drupal. It has great features, blogs, instant messaging, moderation, community groups, with full user profiles & roles.

I just came back from a wonderful adventure in Honduras, Central America.

Tony & Lorraine, my hosts, have a very affordable Bed and Breakfast in the village of Copan Honduras.
They also offer long term rentals to Snow Birds (Retires) from USA and Canada.

I’ve traveled to Central America many times and Tony & Lorraine really impressed me with their knowledge and graciousness. The food was excellent, Copán a very quaint village, and the Ruins amazing!

Politics
In 2186, the existing human world government, with the help of the Eebek Great House Meop, estab­lished the PolySolar Foundation (PSF). The Foundation’s objective was to set and enforce the laws of known space, later to be recognized as the First Sphere. To accomplish this a summit meeting of the leaders of Earth, Luna and Awmonee occurred on the Eebek homeworld.
The conference was held on Awmonee because the Eebek were more inclined towards the establishment of an open as­sembly, representing the entire sphere, then the general populace of Earth or Luna. Earth and Luna’s population were still skittish at the thought of a large government body, having just extracted themselves from the oppres­sion of the Corporate ear. CURRENCY
This first rule of Genesis is that any activity is going to cost something to the individual. In many cases this consists of the exchange of money. Money, however, does not always take the same form. A classic example would be the worth of rare resources. Humans, for in­stance, typically place great value in their planet’s asthet-ically pleasing rare metals and gemstones, while Eebek, whose desert world has but a few scant drops, consider water a precious commodity. Each holds the other’s fix­ation as totally worthless because they themselves are fortunate enough to virtually swim in the stuff.
The intrepid explorer will find that what passes for currency in one sector does not necessarily do so in another. Thank-fully there are a few standard currencies which have evolved over time to be accepted almost universally.
